  5. The Bridal and Gift Registry communicates with other POS products through an
  6. ASCII interface. The registry permits recipients to set up their wish list,
  7. establish priorities within the list, and print out the list for distribution.
  8. This is used for weddings; good works projects such as rehabilitating a local
  9. school, library, or other public facility; family and class reunions; and
  10. anniversaries

  12. Each recipient is listed in the number of stores requested by the store and/or
  13. recipient (an excellent feature for stores with two or more branches in a
  14. location or for a recipient with out of town givers). The inventory items can
  15. be set up to be automatically ordered, put on hold, and/or reduced from
  16. inventory and the registry list.
